Synchronous rectification insures high efficiency over a wide range of input voltage and load variation. Efficiency is further enhanced by using the lower MOSFETs rDS(ON) as the current sense element. Input voltage feed-forward ramp modulation, current-mode control, and internal feed-back compensation provide fast and stable handling of input voltage load transients encountered in advanced portable computer chip sets. |
